Accessibility, stated plainly.

The target: WCAG 2.1 AA, across the whole site.

Khaivo aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 AA on every page. This statement tells you what that means in practice, how it is tested, and where the site falls short today. If a claim here stops being true, the version at the top changes.

What that means in practice.

Real semantic HTML, not divs pretending to be buttons. Full keyboard operation: you can reach and use everything without a mouse. Focus rings stay visible. Touch targets are at least 44px. Text contrast sits at or above 4.5:1. Dark mode ships next to light. Every animation has a static state that switches on when your system asks for reduced motion.

How it is tested.

Automated checks run axe core through Lighthouse, which scores 100 for accessibility on the sampled pages. Manual keyboard walkthroughs and markup review back that up. This is self assessed. No outside auditor has certified it yet, and this statement will say so until one does.

Two known deviations, disclosed plainly.

Honesty means naming the gaps. Two exist today, both deliberate.

First: on desktop the roadmap strip is one extra tab stop, even when the row does not scroll. It keeps a keyboard focus target so the scrollable region stays reachable by keyboard.

Second: text links that sit inside sentences, the footer suggestion link among them, are smaller than the 44px target floor. They fall under the WCAG exception for links inline within text.
